Archpriest Constantine White Moves for Summary Judgment in the Koumentakos Lawsuit
On December 22, 2008, Archpriest Constantine White, the dean of the Washington deanery of the Diocese of Washington and New York of the Orthodox Church in America, filed a motion for summary judgment in the lawsuit brought against him by Kristine Patico Koumentakos. Among the wrongs alleged in the lawsuit was Fr. Raymond Velencia’s publication of Koumentakos’ confidential information. This complaint said that this information was obtained by Velencia during confession and/or during confidential counseling.
