Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze is somewhat guilty, but there are too many questions about cyanide – Metropolitan Dimitri
Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze is somewhat guilty, but there are too many questions about cyanide, – Batumi and Lazeti Metropolitan Dimitri said when commenting on the cyanide case.
As the Metropolitan pointed out, despite the fact that the final verdict has been delivered in the case, the Prosecutor’s Office could not answer many questions.
“The cyanide case is absolutely vague. Now I have more suspicion that Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze had not bought cyanide at all. The Prosecutor’s Office would necessarily show us the moment of buying, if it had it. They have recorded so many details and tens of hours of Irakli Mamaladze’s conversation,” said Metropolitan Dimitri.
According to the Metropolitan, while visiting Germany, he heard a completely different version of how the cyanide was transmitted at the border.
He said that despite the fact that he has questions with the Prosecutor’s Office, he does not think that the Archpriest is innocent.
“The fact that I have some questions with the Prosecutor’s Office does not mean that Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze is innocent. He is somewhat guilty, but there are too many questions about cyanide,” said the Metropolitan.
