OCA St. Tikhon of Moscow Mission (Anchorage AK)

St. Tikhon of Moscow Mission in Anchorage, Alaska, is a parish of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA), Diocese of Alaska.

Minadora Jacobs, in a letter to the OCA’s Metropolitan Council which was published on Orthodox Christians for Accountability in February of 2008, writes that this mission is one of three opened or reopened during Bishop Nikolai’s tenure as hierarch in Alaska.

As reported by KTUU on March 27, 2008, Fr. Daniel Andrejuk, who was assigned to St. Tikhon, said that many Alaskan clergymen felt betrayed after Bishop Nikolai’s leave of absence was rescinded by the Synod of Bishops.
