UCSC Orthodox Student Fellowship

The Orthodox Student Fellowship of the University of California, Santa Cruz, was founded by James Paffhausen, who became the metropolitan of the Orthodox Church in America in 2008. The group was heavily influenced by the writings of Fr. Seraphim Rose. In both of Fr. Damascene Christensen’s biographies of Rose, Not of This World and Fr. Seraphim Rose, there is a chapter on the UCSC fellowship.
