To the Pious Venerable Monastic and Reverend Fathers,
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ the Lord,

I waited a few days for things to settle and create a little peace after unjust decision of the Synod of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America (ROEA) on my abusive and unfounded criminality.
I also received with great bitterness and stupor the OCA and ROEA’s official release on the decision taken against me at the end of a so-called investigation that has also been subject to my suspension of my hierarchical ministry so far. Although the outcome of this research is so sad and unfair, although the investigation to which I was unjustly subjected was one that was obviously conducted from behind to lead to this result that we are facing today, I want to urge all of you to not lose your trust in JUSTICE!
And I am saying this to you, while thinking in these moments of restraint, only to the words of the Psalmist who say, “Rise up, O judge of the earth; repay to the proud what they deserve! How long O Lord, shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult? Until when they will say and will speak injustice” (Psalm 93:2-4)
In these moments of great challenge and full of bitterness for my soul, I want to try to encourage all of you to continue to keep me in prayers and onwards in the months to come.
As before Christ, today I want to confess to the entire Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America and to you all, when I say and affirm with full responsibility: the decision of the OCA Synod comes at the end of an unjust judgment with far too many irregularities and procedural vices assumed by those who have so wrongly decided on the obvious facts. I clearly understand the desire of those who for nearly two years have worked against me, priests and layman some of whom are even those who I have extended a hand and saved them from their situation here and from Romania to live a decent life in the American realm. I understand it all, but that does not mean that I can ever approve hatred and recklessness with which they acted against me! The mighty God in righteousness will judge us all where no intervention can twist in any way the Right Judgment!
Dear brothers and sisters, dear brethren priests,
One thing I want to assure you all today, when my soul is so grieved: before God, I will remain to be the same Bishop, good servant and ardent prayerful for your brotherhood, always close to your hearts!
I cannot recognize the unjust decision which led to my abusive suspension and mockery for a nearly two years through the biased interpretation of the Canons of the Orthodox Church through an inquisitorial process with a pre-established sentence long ago. I am a victim of the fact that I promoted and supported with all my heart and love everything that means authentic Romanian spirituality and tradition in America, promoting the unity of all Romanians.
The so-called “grave canonical crimes” mentioned in all OCA and ROEA statements are not supported by any evidence and have never been presented in the trial or during the investigation, but only aim to eliminate me from the position of Bishop of ROEA .
Why the OCA Synod Court has settled that “the details of my incrimination are of a confidential nature and will not be made public?” I wonder who is using this scandal about my elimination?
I plead, I urge you all, beloved faithful and spiritual children, for much prayer at this time when we need a lot of discernment to prove and believe the TRUTH. God and history will do me justice.

With Archpastoral Blessings,

Bishop of the Orthodox Church,
Abbot and founder of the Romanian Orthodox Monastery “Ascension of the Lord” in Clinton, MI

P.S. In the coming days there will be a letter of explanation from my lawyer.
