Father Vasile Susan again wrote to Pokrov.org on October 19, 2012. The complete text of the letter is linked above.

Attached to this letter was all the documentation the priest sent to the Orthodox Church in America on June 23, 2005 (Exhibit 1). The materials in Exhibit 1 related to Susan’s call for the impeachment of Archbishop Nathaniel Popp, as well as his complaint against a priest of the Romanian Episcopate who Susan alleged was an active homosexual.

Also attached were documents containing more recent developments in this case, including Susan’s phone conversation with Syossot on September 13, 2012 (Exhibits 2-5). All exhibits are linked above.

Susan was terminated from his position at Saint Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church in Chicago, Illinois, in 2004. Popp also had the priest removed from the Romanian Episcopate and transferred to the omophorion of the metropolitan. Susan was never given a reason for Popp’s actions, although Susan believed it was because he spoke out about the priest who he alleged was an active homosexual. Although Susan remains a priest in good standing, he has been without church employment for more than 8 years.
