Archpriest Eugene Vansuch was a priest in the Orthodox Church in America (OCA), Diocese of Washington and New York. In 2008, he was assigned to St. Vladimir Church in Trenton, New Jersey.

On March 7, 2008, Fr. Eugene was appointed by Met. Herman (Swaiko) as the temporary administrator of the Diocese of Alaska after the OCA’s Synod of Bishops placed Bishop Nikolai (Soraich) on a mandatory leave of absence and required him to leave the diocesan territory. However, the archpriest declined the appointment.

Fr. Eugene died suddenly on March 23, 2008.
