Bishop Antoun Khouri was a bishop in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America (AA), Diocese of Miami and the Southeast. He died in October of 2017.

In May of 2000, Khouri met with a man who had been abused by Archimandrite Gabriel Barrow as a boy. The bishop acknowledged to the man that Barrow was suspended from the priesthood in the late 1970s. He also stated that the priest had received therapy and was “healed” of his pedophilia. Khouri went on to say that the AA had released Barrow to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America (GOA).

Subsequently, Khouri wrote to Bishop Isaiah Chronopoulos of the GOA’s Metropolis of Denver, and copied Archbishop Demetrios Trakatellis, stating that Barrow was accused of sexually molesting a minor.
