Bishop Sergios Black is a bishop of the Holy Orthodox Church of North America (HOCNA). The bishop is also the abbot of St. Gregory of Sinai Monastery in Kelseyville, California.

Bishop Sergios attended St. Vladimir Seminary and was ordained a priest in the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). He began his clerical career as Fr. David Black.

At some point, Fr. David took the name of Sergius, and in the early 1990s he had a mission parish and a monastery under the OCA’s Bulgarian Diocese. The mission met at Ascension Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland, California, and the monastery was located in Richmond, California. The monastery eventually relocated to Kelseyville, California.

Bishop Sergios and his monastery were accepted into HOCNA in 2000, and he was later consecrated as a bishop by that group.
