Father Basil Hutsko is a priest in the Eparchy of Parma.
According to the Eparchy of Parma, the bishop found allegations that Father Hutsko engaged in sexual misconduct with a minor 35 years ago were “credible” in 2018. The priest denied the allegations, and the Eparchy said that “a finding that an accusation is credible is not a finding of guilt.” However, Father Hutsko was placed on administrative leave as a result.
The bishop had said just a month earlier that while a woman came forward in 2004 and alleged that the priest had abused her as a child between 1979 to 1983, the independent review board found insufficient evidence of wrongdoing at the time.
The priest worked as a clergyman at:
Saint Mary Byzantine Catholic Church (Cleveland, Ohio)
Saint Barbara Byzantine Catholic Church (Dayton, Ohio)
Saint Basil Byzantine Catholic Church (Sterling Heights, Michigan)
Saint Mary Byzantine Catholic Church (Marblehead, Ohio)
Saint Michael Byzantine Catholic Church (Merrillville, Indiana): ?-2018
