Father Ephraim Ehrs was a priest in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese (GOA), Metropolis of Boston. From 2012 to 2015 he worked at The Dormition of the Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church in Burlington, Vermont.

According to The National Herald, the Synod of the GOA recommended that Ehrs be defrocked “for ethical reasons” in April of 2016.

The priest had been granted a leave of absence by his bishop in October of 2015 to attend to “personal family matters.” However, by December Ehrs was “A.W.O.L.”

Ehrs attended Holy Cross Seminary in May, 2012. He was ordained a deacon by Metropolitan Methodios on August 26, 2012, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Webster, Massachusetts.
