Isidoris Agas was a parishioner at Ss. Fanourios and Gerasimos Church in Queens, New York, in 2002. The parish belongs to the Holy Orthodox Archdiocese of Vasiloupolis.
In a news article published in that same year concerning sexual abuse charges against the head of the archdiocese, Metropolitan Pangratios Vrionis, Mr. Agas was reported to have two children who attended Greek classes and church services at the cathedral. The parishioner was quoted as saying that he had heard nothing against the bishop, and that he did not believe the charges.
