A self-appointed archbishop of an Orthodox church in Queens pleaded guilty yesterday to sexually abusing a boy, nearly 30 years after making a similar admission in Pennsylvania.

James Vrionis, pastor of Sts. Fanourios and Gerasimos Greek Orthodox Cathedral, was sentenced to a year’s probation after he admitted groping a 14-year-old boy at his Woodside church.

Vrionis, 59, faced 90 days in jail on two misdemeanor charges of sex abuse and attempted sex abuse.

Instead, Vrionis pleaded guilty to Criminal Court Judge Steven Paynter, who also ordered him registered as a sex offender under Meagan’s Law.

Vrionis made a similar deal in 1970, when he was charged with sodomizing two 14-year-olds.

He was defrocked by the Greek Orthodox Church but he moved to New York, started a new church and again abused a teen.
